TNS is extremely lucky to be alive after surviving a gun attack on New Year’s Eve. The star whose real name is Nkazimulo revealed that his car was hit by a bullet as he was driving home just minutes before the 2023 New Year crossover.
Club controller hitmaker took to his Facebook page to say that when the incident occurred, he initially thought it was a rock but only realized the next morning that he had been hit by a bullet. He went on to post photos of the car showing the damage caused by the bullet.
TNS, who is still struggling to cope with the horrific incidents, thanked God for saving his life.
“I thought I was hit by a stone yesterday driving home, only to find it was a bullet this morning. This God I pray is too big, we thank God for 2023 [although we live in fear]”, the musician wrote on Facebook.
Meanwhile, the TNS shooting comes just months after another prominent South African artist was gunned down by unknown assailants.
On November 20th, Oupa John Sefoka aka DJ Sumbody and his bodyguard were brutally murdered in Woodmead and no one has been arrested in connection with his murder.
The shooters sprayed bullets into DJ Sumbody’s car, and more than 40 bullet casings were discovered at the scene.
His violent shooting incident prompted some to claim that DJ Sumbody was killed in a meticulously planned hit because of his alleged ties to gangsters and the drug trade.
