It was supposed to be a night of music and fun, but for Themba Mabasa and his friends, it quickly turned into a nightmare. While performing at a popular Johannesburg nightclub, they found themselves in the middle of a violent altercation.
In a video shared by BB Mzansi, the aftermath of the attack was revealed. The injuries sustained were evident and shocking. Speaking to Zimoja, Themba recounted the horrifying event that led to his friends being admitted to the hospital.

“We were having a great time at the club,” Themba recalls. “That is until a drunk bouncer decided to take matters into his own hands. He assaulted a girl for putting her feet on the couch, and we couldn’t just stand by and watch.”
Themba and his friends intervened, trying to stop the fight, but things quickly escalated. “Other security guards tried to intervene, but the bouncer turned his aggression towards us. It was four against one, and one of my friends ended up in the hospital with serious injuries.”
The incident has left Themba and his friends shaken. They plan to open a case and obtain the club’s security footage to support their claims. Meanwhile, Themba is determined to visit his injured friend in the hospital.

“Fighting is never the solution,” Themba emphasizes. “But we couldn’t just stand idly by while a man assaulted a woman, especially over something so trivial. It’s unfortunate that someone had to end up in the hospital. I can only hope that he will recover.”
Violence should never be the answer, but sometimes it’s necessary to stand up for what’s right. Let’s hope that justice prevails and that incidents like these can be prevented in the future.
