The South African actress was born Sithembile Xola Pearl Thusi on May 13th, 1988, and comes from Kwa-Zulu-Natal Community.
Pearl Thusi became famous after she became the first runner-up at the Miss South Africa Teens Beauty Pageant.

She was nominated at the Inaugural Rapid Lion Film Festival for the category of Best Actress for her role in the film – Kalushi.
