Following the immediate success of the new song, `Siyabonga`, South African singer and song writer Nokwazi has revealed that she is the brain behind the lyrics of the song which was produced by one of SAs best DJs Zinhle.
Meanwhile, the DJ Zinhle’s song features the singer as the sole vocalist, and other top music producers, including Black Motion and Kabza De Small who, of course, contributed to the success of the song.

When she discovered the song at the top of a music chart, Nokwazi opened up about how she wrote the song while suffering from depression, but never knew it was going to be a hit.
Taking to her social media account, Nokwazi wrote, “DEAR GOD IT CAN INLY BE YOU. I wrote ‘SIYABONGA’ feeling very low & depressed LOOK AT GOD.”
It did not take long for DJ Zinhle to weigh in, commenting … “Look at God.”
Though DJ Zinhle agrees with the post with her comment, she may have also lost some credibility from those who thought she wrote the song.
Oskido also reacted to the post by commenting, “God gifted you with song writing skills ,well done.”
