Unathi Kkayi, former Kaya FM presenter has faced a major blow in her career after it was discovered that she made false accusation against Dhlomo.
The former Kaya FM presenter presented a multi-million-rand lawsuit for unfair dismissal, Kaya FM revealed that she had made false accusations against Dhlomo, causing anxiety among colleagues and employees.

An email was presented in which she falsely claimed that Dhlomo had been aggressive and used profanity towards her. Meanwhile an audio recording provided by Dhlomo discredited Nkayi’s allegations. Nkayi’s refusal to apologize and her colleague’s formal complaint ultimately has led to the termination of her career.
In response, Nkayi argued that the audio recording infringed upon her privacy and claimed that Dhlomo had previously made derogatory remarks about her on-air, without facing consequences.
Unathi Nkayi has announced that she is working on a documentary where she will narrate her side of the story on the legal battle against Kaya 959. The former Kaya 959 presenter was sacked from the station following her public dispute with former colleague Sizwe Dhlomo.
