Bonko Khoza, the talented actor, recently opened up about how the arrival of their newborn has brought some changes to their marriage. In a candid conversation with The Makhs, Bonko and their partner Lesego reflected on their journey as parents.
“Naturally, there’s that added element in the home, so what we knew as our dynamic has now changed. Adjusting to that is difficult, it’s tricky,” Bonko shared.

“With a newborn, they explained, life revolves around the three-hour gaps when the baby sleeps within the 24-hour cycle. Sleep deprivation and the busyness of parenting take their toll, but Bonko emphasized the importance of supporting each other.
However, amidst the challenges, Bonko expressed admiration for Lesego’s motherhood skills. “I’m learning more about Lesego right now in this phase, learning how amazing of a mother she is. At the foundation, we still got it,” they said.
In March, the couple celebrated their 2nd anniversary, and Bonko took the opportunity to pen a heartfelt note to their wife.
“Ten years ago on this day, you changed my life when our eyes locked for the first time. You turned me into the person I always dreamt of being,” Bonko wrote.
“May the rest of my days with you be as beautiful as your smile. May the rest of our days be filled with laughter, love, learning, and healing. Thank you for choosing me. For loving me.”
